Style try-out: Procreate + iPad + Risograph Brushes
Liking this look and feel, wondering why Procreate won't give me more layers...
So… I was watching ‘Wednesday’ while I was drawing these cover designs.
I associate the drawings/paintings I do with the shows (or music) I am consuming at the same time I am doing them. Re-enjoying the memories in my brain as I put this post together.
This is the raw image (below) out of Procreate. I did a deep dive into Procreate to see what I could do. The RISOGRAPH BRUSH AND TEXTURE KIT FOR PROCREATE I bought from RetroSupply.co took my general, plain line style from weird to wow! So many folks who reviewed my illustration portfolio in 2022 recommended some texture in my work, and the Risograph brushes were the most direct way to get texture into my line and shape work.

I pulled the Procreate-exported jpeg into InDesign to build square social media panels for online presentation.

More illustrations coming in this style.
Just hoping I can get Procreate to cough up more layers in each new document…
