Wind is no match for Sun's rays

The story that came to my mind when illustrating ‘kind’ was the fable about the Sun vs. the Wind. The two made a bet that they could get a traveler’s coat off of him with their particular forces of nature.

The Wind blew and blew upon the traveler, intending to whooosh the coat right off of him with forceful blasts. (Loser : ( )

The Sun next shone down onto the traveler with warmth and heat, succeeding in coaxing the coat right off the man. (Winner!)

Meaning… the warmth of kinder coaxing can influence people - or even cats - to put aside their determination and open themselves up to your wishes.
